What do you think about the effort by La Cima’s (formerly Lazy Oaks) and ETR Development’s  request for a PID to finance their development that shares a border with the city of San Marcos?

If a PID is approved, and La Cima is not annexed, then people who live there will be able to enjoy San Marcos City facilities, roads, river and parks without having to pay for them via city taxes. Sounds like a sweet deal for the developer and the future residents but not for the citizens of San Marcos. This is my opinion and is supported by what I have heard about this deal.  You can voice you opinion at the Public Hearing tonight at P&Z meeting starting at 6 at City Hall.
